Enjoy everything the area has to offer and find everything provided to make yourself at home at the '19th Hole' -- a comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome with central air/heat and tastefully decorated with a Caribbean flair and located in the South Padre Island Golf Community. Relax in the screened porch and bird watch while enjoying the average year-round temperature of 72 degrees. GREAT ROOM/KITCHEN/DINING. Relax in the comfy recliners or sofa while watching satellite TV or DVDs on the 42" flat screen HD TV in the living area. The entertainment center includes a stereo with IPOD docking station and a wide selection of DVDs. The kitchen features granite countertops with a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with all that you will need for preparing and enjoying gourmet meals at home or packing a lunch for the beach. SCREENED PORCH. The private 10'x12' east-facing screened porch offers another comfortable living area with loveseat and side chairs. A folding table is available for dining or playing games on the porch. As you relax with the South Texas breezes, watch for the birds in your backyard (300+ species in the area)! A gas BBQ grill is located on the paved landing off the porch. MASTER BEDROOM. The comfortable queen-size sleigh bed has bedside tables with reading lamps. The ensuite bath includes bathtub and shower. A large walk-in closet and dresser are available for your use. For your entertainment, there is a small flat screen LCD TV with built-in DVD and a bookshelf with a selection of reading materials. GUEST BEDROOM/GUEST BATH. The guest bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed with wicker headboard, wicker dresser and small flat screen LCD TV with built-in DVD player. The guest bath with walk-in shower is located directly across from the guest bedroom door. OTHER FEATURES. The garage is NOT available for guests to park their car, but guests have access and will find the washer and dryer, an assortment of golf clubs, beach chairs and coolers in the garage. There is ample off-street parking in front of the garage. Bed linens, bath linens, and beach towels are all provided. Pack light and make yourself at home with blow dryers, paper goods, cooking spices, bath soap, shampoo, conditioners, lotions, dish soap, laundry detergent, and iron/ironing board all provided at the unit. As our guest at the 19th Hole, the resort amenities of the South Padre Island Golf Community are also available for your use, including one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in the Rio Grande Valley, heated swimming pools, tennis court, fitness room, and onsite restaurant and bar. IN THE AREA. A guest binder at the unit will provide you with a wealth of information on activities, dining, and shopping in the area. The best beaches along the Gulf of Mexico (average yearly water temperature of 80 degrees) are located on South Padre Island - just quick 15-20 minute drive away. Water sports in the area are abundant, including deep sea fishing, bay fishing, wind surfing, jet skiing, parasailing and the Schlitterbaun Water Park for family fun. This area is also an international destination for birding with the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center and Laguna Madre Nature Trails just minutes away. Mexico is less than an hour away and the border towns offer an entertaining and inexpensive experience in shopping and dining (passport required).
